Polyester silk embroidery thread
The characteristic of polyester filament is to be able to withstand chemical substances and frequent washing, which can reduce clothing fading and decolorization phenomenon. So, hotel uniforms, stone blue jeans, sportswear or children's clothing will be made of polyester yarns to minimize the fading of water.
In relative terms, polyester silk is more strong compared with rayon. The tough-high polyester thread can also withstand greater tensile force while the machine runs at high speed during embroidering. So it is often used for 3D embroidery on hat, shoes and bags. And it's extremely fireproof, even if the clothing is close to the fire, also not easy to touch the fire.
The line quality of polyester yarns is not more stable than rayon, but more flexible. You can cut the artificial silk to do the test, pull hard, then relax, you find the embroidery line will not shrink. On the contrary, after pulling the polyester silk, once relaxed, it will revert to the original length. Therefore, there is a chance to crease the wrinkle of patterns. It should be more accurate on the tension.
Rayon
The character of rayon and polyester thread is very much the same. The former has the advantage of choosing more colors. In addition, as mentioned above, the stability of rayon is also higher than polyester silk. It has not obvious shrink even through the pulling of machine frame. But it is easy to be fire and can not to wash frequently.
Metal wire
The characteristic of wire is that the outer layer of the wire is covered with a layer of metal film and the inner layer is composed of rayon or polyester yarns. The designer can produce sparkling embroidery effects due to the surface gloss of the line. But at the same time, it also has a negative effect on embroidery. The embroider needle, embroider thread often rub between the cloth when embroidering and then produce the heat. At this time, the wool of the embroidery thread will play a role to take the heat away. While the surface of metal wire has not plumelet, the heat of the needles still exists to dissolve the mental film and even cause broken line.
Wool line
The wool line is thicker than the general embroidery thread, always used in tower embroidery, string embroidery and chain needle, which is more beautiful matched with knitted fabric. Soft embroidery effect is more perfect on the girl’s knitwear. it is appropriate to choose a thicker needle, 100 or 110 because of its thick body texture. In addition, the thread tension should be relatively loose for the movement of embroidery thread.
